1. Polyvinyl chloride is a kind of plastic often used. It is a resin composed of polyvinyl chloride resin, plasticizer and antioxidant. It is non-toxic in itself.

2. The plasticizer, antioxidant and other main auxiliary materials added to plastics are toxic. The plasticizer in PVC plastics for daily use mainly uses dibutyl terephthalate, dioctyl phthalate, etc. these chemicals are toxic, and the antioxidant lead stearate of PVC is also toxic.

3. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) products containing lead salt antioxidant will precipitate lead in contact with ethanol, ether and other solvents. PVC containing lead salt is used as food packaging. When it meets with fried dough sticks, fried cakes, fried fish, cooked meat products, cakes and snacks, lead molecules will diffuse into oil. Therefore, PVC plastic bags cannot be used to contain food, especially oily food.

4. PVC plastic products will slowly decompose hydrogen chloride gas at high temperature, such as about 50 ℃, which is harmful to human body. Therefore, PVC products are not suitable for food packaging.
