How to judge the quality of PVC hose
Mar 09, 2022
1、 Quantity:
1. Measure the wall thickness: see whether the specified wall thickness is reached. Here, we should also pay attention to that some pipes are evacuated pipes, and the wall thickness at both ends meets the requirements, but the middle wall thickness is thin, which does not meet the use requirements. At the same time, the cost is reduced by evacuation.
2. Quantity length: see whether the specified length is reached. Some manufacturers reduce the price by shortening the length. According to GB / t10002 1-2006 stipulates that negative deviation is not allowed.
2、 Look:
1. Look at gloss: the products with good surface gloss and great oiliness are of high quality.
2. Look at the color: the standard PVC-U pipe is light beige. If the pipe is pale, it indicates that the calcium powder is added in excess. Some manufacturers add too much miscellaneous materials and recycled materials, and the pipe is black and yellow.
3、 Weigh:
Weighing: compare the weight of two pipes with the same diameter, wall thickness and length. The calcium powder and impurities with high weight are added too much, and the material is impure, which can not meet the requirements.
4、 Fall:
If possible, you can step on the edge of the pipe to see if it can be easily crushed. Take the PVC pipe and fall to the ground. If the broken pipe is a "high calcium chip", some manufacturers add excessive calcium powder in the pipe production in order to save costs and improve profits. Such pipe is cheap, but its hardness is much lower, fragile and unqualified. PVC pipes can be crushed by kicking or even rolling with a car. Inferior PVC pipes can be crushed by kicking.
5、 Inspection:
1. Inspection and test report: the inspection report of the pipe and the test report of its hygiene index shall be obtained, and the original shall be good-looking.
2. Technical indicators (according to GB / t10002.1-2006);
3. Vicat softening temperature ≥ 80 ℃;
4. Longitudinal retraction rate ≤ 5%;
5. No change of impregnated surface;
6. Drop weight impact test (0 ℃), TIR ≤ 5%;
7. The hydraulic test was carried out at 20 ℃, the ring stress was 36Mpa / 38Mpa, and there was no fracture and leakage after 1 hour.
